Yes, you can stay in your home while your kitchen is being remodeled. Some clients choose to stay elsewhere while work is being done, however, it is completely up to you.
After the planning stage is completed, the remodel can take between 3-6 weeks. It just depends on the size of the project. A few updates will go much faster than an entire kitchen remodel.
If you are changing structural elements, adding or removing windows and doors, or moving plumbing and electrical, you will need a permit.
If you are completing minor updates such as paint, tile, new cabinets, or flooring, you most likely will not need one. We will be here to explain the process for your specific project and handle any permit needs you will have!
